Frank Uhr, an engineer by training and the visionary behind automation Uhr GmbH, has been leading the company for 30 years. Starting as a design office startup—then still under the leadership of his father, Werner Uhr—the company has grown under his guidance into a successful, highly specialized provider of automation solutions.

His management of the company is based on expertise, experience, and an eye for the bigger picture—qualities he acquired not least through his career as a toolmaker and his university degree in design and computer science in the field of mechanical engineering.
