• Die Anwendung von organischen Leuchtdioden (OLED) für Beleuchtung steht in den nächsten fünf Jahren vor dem Eintritt in den Massenmarkt der Allgemeinbeleuchtung.
  Die kostengünstige Massenfertigung von OLED-Modulen stellt im Moment die wesentliche Lücke in der Wertschöpfungskette dar.

• Das Ziel der Forschungsarbeiten ist es, Konzepte für die Fertigung von Mittel- und Großserien von OLED-Modulen zu entwickeln.
  Auf der Grundlage eines modularen Variantensystems können schnell optimale Automatisierungslösungen für die jeweilige Anfragestückzahl und den resultierenden Automatisierungsgrad abgeleitet werden.

  The cost-effective mass production of OLED modules currently represents the major gap in the value chain.

• The aim of the research work is to develop concepts for the production of medium and large series of OLED modules.
  On the basis of a modular variant system, optimal automation solutions can be quickly derived for the respective number of requests and the resulting degree of automation.
